MAJOR, GLORIOUS, NEWS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS

Hopefully this will be the beginning of a series of victory reports concerning the miraculous reconciliation of all my family members. Since the mid 80's there has been very little meaningful communication and a lot of animosity, obviously making it quite impossible to be pleasing to God in our relationships with each other.
Simply put, the blame for this non-existent family relationship goes to none other than myself and the time came, for long overdue apologies and repentance on my part, to each and every family member, including my former wife.
Once again, the goodness of God and His mercy was clearly manifest through the mercy and forgiveness extended to me by my family. A TRUE MIRACLE WAS WROUGHT!. Restoration has happened, and God has been glorified.
During this coming Thanksgiving holidays, a get-together is being arranged (the first in twenty years or more). Each of my children, plus all six of my grandchildren will be here, in the Morgantown area.
Three of the children (two of which are now in their thirties) are coming all the way from California, my former wife, Karen, from Columbus, Ohio, and my oldest daughter (Deana), her two children and her husband, from San Antonio, Texas. Needless to say, it will be quite an undertaking and even the expenses will be covered by them (including Karen).
I welcome your Email, letting me know you are still praying, standing in agreement with me, for even yet another notable miracle and the continued good results from it
You can do that at.....edwhughes@hotmail.
Many many blessings, to you and yours...

In Christ,

Eddie Hughes

WHAT A RESTORATION/REUNION!

What a JOY it was indeed, to have this long awaited restoration!  God's hand of blessing was on this little meeting for sure.  The photo was taken at the Waterfront Hotel in Morgantown, WV. on Sat., Oct. 25., by my sister Annie.
From left to right, is:  Deana --- my eldest daughter (35) who lives in San Antonio, Texas --- her younger child, Nicholas, who is one year old ---  yours truly, (the proud-looking, old guy) --- and then Reagan, Deana's older child, who is five (going on fifteen) ---what a couple of beauties!  Last of all is Jacob, my youngest, (28).
This coming weekend will be the second chapter, when I get to re-unite with Jodi and Jamie and their boys.
Dylan is the oldest grandson, belonging to Jodi, and will be 16 in December.  Jodi also is the mother of Trey.  And then Jamie, who is the mother of Damian, (another 5 year-old), who we call "Tank".  I am greatly looking forward to that reunion as well.
Glory to God, forever!....  Stay tuned for updates!

Health Update

It's been quite a while since my last update so I am way overdue...
The bottom line to what the 'experts' are saying is this:

The "tumor markers" (CEA levels) are a lot higher than ever before. They are showing a reading of 78 (a good bit higher than the .03 they once had gotten down to). That, along with continued weight loss (I now weigh 165 lbs., a total loss of approx. 150 pounds in the past 18 months), and consistent lack of strength, growing pressure on the bladder and other organs, etc., etc.---all gives indication of a very active and deadly tumor.

Joie and I, of course, are not just accepting this, as we know the God Who is 'More than enough', Who heals 'every disease', and Who has taken 'every' sickness and pain upon Himself at Calvary... On Him we fully rely and in Him we rejoice. Rejoice with us and keep up those faith-filled prayers.

We love you and would like to hear from you soon. We haven't heard from anyone for months, though we know you are still there for us... God bless you richly.
