Further Cancer Treatment a No-Go At This Point

Joie and I drove to Pittsburgh today for a special consultation with UPMC Radiation/Oncologist Dr. Burton. Our specialist here, Dr. Miklos Auber felt it would be good to look into a rather rare and effective procedure called "Cyber Knife" which is a highly focused radiation procedure, targeting the tumor in it's various locations without burning other organs or tissues...

Though very compassionate, Dr. Burton was also clear (after looking at all of the available Xray images that the procedure could not be used in this case without significant damage to bowel tissue. Again, we felt good in this respect... Our trust is in God and Him alone. We are at perfect peace and ready to be about the work God has provided for us to do in order to provide for my family. My focus on working on this blog site is also due for increased effort on my part in order to put in writing those things God has laid on my heart to deliver to the church.

So when you pray, don't forget to mention us occasionally. Patience is having its perfect work and we are truly counting on being 'perfect and entire, wanting nothing'. I thank God for his miracle touch, for sending His word and healing, for additional strength, and length of days. To God be the glory!
